It all began in 1979 when Ken Beard Sr. decided to have a pool installed for his family. Before the project was finished the builder had skipped town, the pool was an unfinished mess, and Ken had decisions to make. He decided to finish his own pool, and in doing so, he emerged with the philosophy that he could do it better.
Ken began building pools in 1980 and, with the help of his family and others opened his first retail store in 1981. His goal: educate pool owners and buyers; teach them how to take care of their pools in a way that would make it easier and provide trustworthy, dependable products and services.
This was the BEST place I have shopped, the girls behind the counter were very knowledgable in their water chemistry and equipment, they saved me over $300 in a service call that i really didn't need, they fixed it for me right there!! I HIGHLY recommend the Paradise Pools IN PEARL...it is the only location i will go to now!!
Girls on the counter we great!! I was having trouble with my pool...couldn't get the water clear. They listened to my problem, figured it out and got me all straightened out. They even got me on a good schedule so that I won't mess it up again. They told me things others had never told. I'll definitely be going back.
